As a rule, I don't pass along these "add your name" lists that appear in emails.BUT this one is important. I am not sure why this is such an issue. I personally know another senator that was charged and convicted of a crime, and stayed in the senate. When the citizens threw up their arms in rage, he was then allowed to resign so that he could continue to collect his generous pension. If he did not resign, he would have been 'fired' from the senate and no pension. Guess which he chose? And then has the nerve to whine about his public disgrace and humiliation.
